BHMCT (Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology)

The Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) is an undergraduate program designed to prepare students for professional careers in the hospitality and catering industry. The course provides in-depth knowledge of hotel operations, food production, food and beverage service, front office management, housekeeping, and hospitality marketing. It also focuses on developing strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills.

The program combines classroom learning with practical training through laboratories, workshops, and industrial internships. Students gain hands-on experience in catering technology, hotel management systems, hygiene and safety standards, and hospitality laws. This practical approach helps students understand real-world industry requirements and professional work culture.

Graduates of the BHMCT program are equipped to work in hotels, resorts, cruise lines, restaurants, airlines, event management companies, and other hospitality sectors. The course also provides a foundation for higher studies and entrepreneurial opportunities in the hospitality and tourism industry.

Eligibility : Any student who have passed in 10+2 examination
Duration : Four years consisting of 8 semesters (including industrial exposure training).
